How does hemp compare to cotton?

Apart from the fact that hemp is a lot more ecological than cotton (even organic cotton, which despite its purity still requires massive amounts of water and land to grow), hemp is a much stronger fiber than cotton (anywhere from 3-10 times the tensile strength of the cotton fiber, depending on how the fiber is processed into fabric and if the fabric is woven or knitted).
